DO YOU TRAVEL?

We certainly do!  We are often playing events outside of the National Capital Region.  There is an additional hourly charge for our time spent traveling, and gas+mileage charges will apply with any event outside of Ottawa.  


WHAT ARE YOUR RATES?

This all depends on how much time you'd like us for, where your event is and the size of band you prefer (solo, duo, trio, quartet, and/or quintet).  Every event is different.  We will work with you personally to ensure that we quote you accurately.   

WHAT MUSIC SERVICES DO YOU OFFER?

We offer music services for the whole duration of your event.  Whether you want live or DJ'd music for your ceremony, cocktail, dinner and after-dinner reception, we have you covered and will ensure the music is perfect for your event.  We also perform for corporate, galas, private, birthdays, etc...  ANYWHERE there might be music!


DO YOU PLAY OUTSIDE?

Yes, we enjoy performing outdoors!  As long as the weather forecast is nice and comfortable.  If there is a chance of rain, we will require a tent to protect our instruments and sound equipment.  


HOW MUCH SPACE DO YOU NEED?

For the Jackson Miles full band (quintet), we typically require a surface area of 15 feet wide x 10 feet deep and for smaller formats (duo and trio) we require less.  A stage is not required.  We lay carpets at ground level to give the resemblance of a stage.   

HOW DO I GO ABOUT BOOKING THE JACKSON MILES BAND?

After the initial details have been sorted out such as the event date, time, location,  I will send you a quote. To confirm and secure the booking, I will send you a detailed contract and once this has been agreed upon, a 50% deposit required.  

CAN WE REQUEST SONGS TO BE PERFORMED LIVE?

Yes, we will learn up to two songs for those special moments (first dance, father/daughter, mother/son).  We do ask that you give us two months prior to your event to rehearse and learn the song.
